Dear Friends:
It is nearly summer, and there are so many things happening in Hemet. Valley-Wide is ready for their summer activities. Their state-of-the-art Aquatic Center is ready for another fun-filled summer, and all over the Valley young people are counting the days until school will be out.
The Hemet City Council is moving forward with commercial projects, and new businesses are looking forward to moving to Hemet. This year we will welcome Winco, Red Robin Restaurant, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Sonic Burgers, Buffalo Wild Wings, additional locations of Starbuck's, as well as other commercial projects.
Young families with children continue to move into our community, and they are fortunate to have Valley-Wide to depend on for sports, arts and crafts, as well as other activities.
Hemet is such a great place to live. All the members of our "City Family" are dedicated to the goal of improving our quality of life every day. The employees and volunteers who are a part of our Public Works Department, Police and Fire Departments, Building and Planning, the Library and all of the departments throughout the City are working hard every day for the citizens of Hemet. We are proud of every one of them.
Valley-Wide continues to contribute to our quality of life, not only do our children benefit from their programs, but adults as well.
We offer our congratulations and thanks to Valley-Wide on another year of successful service to our community.
Sincerely,
Marc Searl Mayor
