The overall mission of P.A.L. is to build a bond between cops and kids through positive recreational, cultural and social activities.  P.A.L. is a creative form of proactive policing designed to develop leadership skills, teamwork, positive self image, discipline and mutual trust between children, law enforcement & and other community members.  We believe that in order to strengthen a community we must invest in our greatest resource - our children!

P.A.L. Afterschool Program P.A.L. offers positive afterschool activities Monday - Friday for youth in Hemet & San Jacinto.  Participants are engaged in arts & craft projects, recreational sports, homework tutoring, computer lab, and a variety of recreation games such as pool, foozball, ping pong, air hockey, etc.  In addition, youth have the opportunity to go on monthly field trips,  and participate in “Cops & Kids” special events and community service projects. Days:          Mon-Fri Hours:             2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. (Fridays open at 12:00                         p.m.) Fee:                 Free ($1.00 for each re-entry) This is a grant funded program and all                 participants are required to fill out the a                 scholarship application Grades:             San Jacinto- Grades 4-8 / Hemet – Grades

Junior P.A.L. Program Junior P.A.L. is a non-licensed, drop-in recreational day camp. Each day participants take part in structured indoor & outdoor activities including: arts and crafts, sports, life skill lessons, movie time, monthly theme based activities and much, much more!   Hours:              7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Fee:                 $55.00 per week / per child Grades:            K-5 Location:          San Jacinto P.A.L. only
